I got 6 weeks out of it until it where completly failed as in zero beading. Applyied in high humidity as it started to rain directly after the SNS was applyied. And on just a prewashed and washed hood and roof. But it's dirt cheap so I would just apply it over it self every month or every other month. Maybe you could get the ICE Spray Wax as a topper for it. On it's own and also topped up on it self would be working great I think. So I don't know if it will work great as topper since finding out this things about it. But seems to be doing so only when it's a well preped paint as in polished or a paint cleaner was used. The SNS should have been out perform Wet Coat in longevity. And it still beading and sheeting like the day 1 of application 8 weeks in. During the first application I applyied the new version of Gyeon Wet Coat on the other parts of the car. Have it side by side with Meguiars HCW know to see the difference between them. And it has come some rain on it since and a much better water behavior from it. I have given it another shot in better weather conditions and was way more easy to apply and wipe it off. So let it cure for 24 hours and check out the weather forecast and if you want to have a longer longevity from it as in 4-5 months you need to be preping the paint thoroughly. The water behavior took a hughe hit from it. One thing that one got from his testing was if you where soon to play with the water behavior as in checking the hydrophobic caractics of it after application. If you use this product properly so it goes on very thin, one bottle will last a very long time. It's a PITA to apply in humid weather. So be sure you are away and down wind from the vehicle every time you spray it. If you do it will be too thick and leave major streaks.Īnd if over spray gets on the vehicle windows it will leave little dots that are annoying you will have to use strong concentrate of dish soap with warm water and wipe it a long time to remove it. This stuff goes on sooooooo thin you may think there is nothing there, but it is there and will last a very long time. Then wipe the cloth on the vehicle to apply it. When you apply this wax walk away downwind from the vehicle and spray it on a clean cloth ( microfiber is preferred ). The water still beaded but I washed and waxed it for the first time this year last week and applied it again. I waxed my CR-V with it the beginning of last November and it held up all winter. But even if it streaks they seam to disappear in a week or two, and this wax last a very very long time. It is hard to put it on thin enough to not leave streaks. It's quick and leaves no spots.Īs per the video a very good long lasting wax is Turtle Wax number 53409 Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray. He said it is the most powerful electric one made. I borrow an electric leaf blower from one of my brothers. This stuff removes dirt, and leaves wax on the vehicle.Ī really great trick to dry a vehicle is to use a powerful leaf blower. At that rate you get 32 washes from one bottle. Two gallons of warm water and 2 oz is more than enough to wash any vehicle. And find something that can measure 1 oz fairly accurately because one oz per gallon of water is the proper mix. For washing, ArmorAll Ultral SHINE wash & wax.
